PALS Renewal
The American Heart Association PALS Renewal class is designed for health Care professionals with a strong pediatric back ground. Student must have an unexpired AHA PALS Provider card to attend a renewal course. You will be asked to show your unexpired PALS Provider card when attending a renewal.
The PALS Renewal Course covers extensive material in a short time, you will need to prepare for the course beforehand. A focus on ECG rhythm identification, related pharmacology and the systematic approach to pediatric assessment is recommended. The AHA requires a pre-course assessment test be completed and the results page must be printed and brought to class with you. This may be found at https://elearning.heart.org/course/427.
The AHA requires the current 2020 edition book for this class, the cost of which is not included in the cost of this course. Books can be purchased online at time of course registration or Monday-Friday only 8am-5pm at CCFD5 or by calling with a credit card to 564-397-2100. Books are not available for purchase on Saturdays or evenings. You can also purchase an eBook from AHA eBooks Store http://ebooks.heart.org - you must provide proof of your eBook to the instructor at the beginning of class.

After successfully completing the skills assessment, students will receive a PALS Provider eCard certification, valid for two years.
There will be a $25.00 No-Show Fee charged to any student who does not show for their scheduled class, (or) to any student who does not give at least 24-hours’ notice to cancel or change the date of their class. If you are more than 10 minutes late to class, you will need to reschedule.
