The Basic Heartsaver CPR course is a modular program that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies. This class focuses on CPR and AED training for the adult, child, and infant. The Basic First Aid course is designed for the lay rescuer responding to emergency situations in the workplace, home, and community. Here at Fire District 5, we offer several courses at this level which include Heartsaver CPR/AED, Basic First Aid, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED , and a CPR or First Aid skills only option.
