ACLS Renewal
The American Heart Association ACLS renewal class is designed for health Care professionals. It covers extensive material in a short time so you will need to prepare for the course beforehand. It is recommended that students have a strong background in ECG interpretation, pharmacology, and ACLS algorithms. Students attending a renewal course must have an unexpired AHA ACLS Provider card to attend. You will be asked to show your unexpired AHA ACLS Provider card when you arrive for class.
The AHA requires a pre-course assessment test be completed, the results page must be printed and brought to class with you. This may be found at https://elearning.heart.org/course/423.
The AHA requires the current 2020 edition book for this class, the cost of which in separate from the cost of this course. Books can be purchased online at time of course registration or Monday-Friday only 8am-5pm at CCFD5 or by calling with a credit card to 564-397-2100.
Books are not available for purchase on Saturdays or evenings. You can also purchase an eBook from AHA eBooks Store http://ebooks.heart.org - you must provide proof of your eBook to the instructor at the beginning of class.
Students needing to renew their BLS may preregister by phone or you may add it to the ACLS program for an additional reduced cost. Please let your instructor know you would like to add this option when you arrive.
