ACLS Provider (Initial)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care, airway management and related pharmacology.
The AHA requires a pre-course assessment test be completed and the results page must be printed and brought to class with you. This may be found at https://elearning.heart.org/course/423.
After successfully completion of the course, students will receive a ACLS Provider eCard certification, valid for two years.
AHA requires the current 2020 edition book for this class, the cost of which is separate from the cost of this course. Books can be purchased online at time of course registration or Monday-Friday only 8am-5pm at CCFD5 or by calling with a credit card to 564-397-2100.
Books are not available for purchase on Saturdays or evenings. You can also purchase an eBook from AHA eBooks Store http://ebooks.heart.org - you must provide proof of your eBook to the instructor at the beginning of class.
Students needing to renew their BLS may preregister by phone or you may add it to the ACLS program for an additional reduced cost. Please let your instructor know you would like to add this option when you arrive.

There will be a $25.00 No-Show Fee charged to any student who does not show for their scheduled class, (or) to any student who does not give at least 24-hours’ notice to cancel or change the date of their class. If you are more than 10 minutes late to class, you will need to reschedule.
